I have tried many different extensions that solve similar challenges. I even made a few of my own.

Keywords Everywhere is an absolute must-have extension for Google Chrome. It will show you search volume and competition for keywords found on different websites. It will automatically find the search volume and add it to the interface inside the Google Search Console. It will also show you the search volume below the search field on the Google Search results page as well as related keywords in a sidebar. The only downside is that it can't provide data for some languages and local keywords, but for most, it works wonders.

This extension turns open tabs into boring grey lightweight tabs that consume very little RAM. It does that after a set amount of time. When you wanna use the tab again, you simply click the screen and it loads the original content again.
